EPC Certificates

Mandatory energy efficiency ratings for selling or renting your property.

What is an EPC?

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) provides a property with an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). It contains information about a property’s energy use and typical energy costs, along with recommendations on how to reduce energy use and save money.

Since October 2008, it is a legal requirement to have an EPC if you found are renting or selling a property. The certificate is valid for 10 years.

What the Report Contains

Energy Efficiency Rating Current and potential energy rating (A-G graph).
